HARMONIC SECURITY ENGINEERING (HSE) was registered in July 2002 as a specialist in Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV) and Burglar Alarm System. The company was formed to meet the increasing demand from the residential and commercial sectors for security systems. As a security specialist, we are fully committed to provide reliable service to our clients and to ensure a safe and secure environment that can complement the preventive measures being taken by the Malaysia Police.
Although our company was registered on in July 2002, we had actually been operating for the last twenty-seven years under the name of our parent company Harmonic AV Centre, which is also the SONY Center in Sandakan. The separation was decided in 2002 as both lines of businesses (i.e. security systems and sale of audio visual products) have experienced significant growth over the years. Moreover the name of Harmonic Security Engineering would put the nature of our business in the right perspective.
Since 1997, we were appointed as the authorized Philips dealer and 2001 as the authorized system integrator in Sabah by Bosch Security Systems Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Philips (M) Sdn Bhd). The appointment comes with the responsibility to devise and design appropriate security systems for our clients. In this aspect, we are backed by the experience and expertise of our technicians and installation crew who have been systematically trained by Bosch Security Systems Sdn Bhd.
With our extensive knowledge in the AV industry since 1993, Harmonic AV Centre are continuing to expand and on 2011 it has changed name to Harmonic AV Sdn Bhd. On top of that, we are the authorized dealer for BOSE in East Malaysia since 2006.
